Jet's interest in jewellery is its ability to hold meaning and history. Her MA in Jewellery Design at Saint Martins focussed on memorialising precious entities, people and stories jewels. If made carefully, jewellery can last for thousands of years thus becoming an heirloom object that heralds special people and things. This taps into a long standing tradition seen in the jewellery cultures through time from the Ancient Egyptians to the Celts to the Victorians.
